San Francisco isn't explained. It's crossed.
This afternoon, at 5:30pm, Narratio takes the stage at Salesforce Tower. It's sold out. A week ago we were just another Spanish startup trying to understand this city from the outside. Today we speak from inside it.
The leap wasn't chance. Narratio is one of nine startups selected across Spain for the ICEX x SOSA Desafía San Francisco program, two weeks of immersion built for a market that doesn't forgive noise and rewards clarity.
The first few days have been a string of conversations that would have taken months to happen in Europe. Venture funds asking about the legal defensibility of data, not just the product. Corporations operating at a scale where unverified data is no longer a theoretical risk but a liability on the balance sheet. Founders who've been here for years and still don't feel settled, because in Silicon Valley, settling in is the first sign you've stopped moving forward.
The right conversations are happening with the right investors. There's movement. News will come soon.
None of this gets built alone, and this week proved it with real names. Alicia Hanf and Elan Fox saw what we were building before it was easy to see, and opened a door that changes the whole trajectory. The program has put mentors in front of us who challenged every assumption: Alejandro Manzanares, Hai Habot, Mattia Pavoni, Akshay Shrimanker, Joshua Zerkel, Michel Narganes, Rich McDerby, Christopher Dayans, and Brandon Reilly. The program exists for women-led tech startups. Nine selected across all of Spain. Narratio is one of them.
